David Wharmby Evening of Deep Trance Mediumship.
David is a very well known trance medium and paranormal investigator internationally and at home in Nottinghamshire and beyond, but virtually unknown to most of us in Essex. I certainly hadn’t heard of David when he contacted me in March 07 to help promote an event in our area. With most things in life I decided to go with my gut feeling and book an event of Deep Trance Mediumship for 12th May 07 with the intention of bringing genuine deep trance mediumship to the area and I’m glad to say we did. Anyway fast forward two months and the event was upon as, we had sold most tickets upfront to fill the small hall we had hired and laid on all the necessary refreshments, thanks to Jim’s wife Jackie. David turned up in good time with his team of helpers so at last everything was coming together for our first ever organised event. Obviously we were quite nervous hoping it would go well, would the audience appreciate somebody talking in different voices from the departed. All manner of things ran through my mind but I tried to stay focused and positive.
The evening started with Steve, a developing trance medium himself introducing David and announcing what to expect from his various guides and who they were, this helped put everybody at ease. Now we were ready for David to sit back and wait for his guides to come forward. Whilst this is happening David is taken to a safe place and has absolutely no recollection of what is taking place.
Gordon
Gordon is the officiary guide of the evening who opens and closes the proceedings, he was a very quietly spoken chap with very little to say but most of his work is being carried out behind the scenes.
Annie
After a few minutes with his eyes closed David’s breathing and posture started to change. Then suddenly a young but very wise guide called ‘Annie’ came through, a little girl of around nine years old who died in 1402. David’s voice changed completely into that of a little girl, quite incredible in fact. She started by introducing who she was and how she died. Although she appears as a child she is actually quite a wise guide helping David with his work. She uplifted the audience with much banter and got started by reading an audience member to help deliver some cracking evidence. Annie was a fantastic guide who had us all laughing and helped lighten the atmosphere.
Joe
The second guide that came through was quite a cheeky soul, one for the lady’s. A very charismatic old chap who told us plenty of jokes to keep us all uplifted. He even joked that he would follow an attractive young lady in the audience home, but it was all in good jest. He delivered quite a few readings for various audience members that could all be taken. He also gave us the opportunity to ask questions which some of us jump at. I asked about the Akashic records but as this is a quite sacred we’re not meant know everything whilst here on the Earth plane but he did confirm that they know it as ‘The Book of Knowledge’. Other questions that were asked were about karma & money plus the law of Intent which I asked because this philosophy is becoming more widespread so it would be good to get spirit’s view on this. Basically he confirmed in a rather down to earth manner that positive things do happen when you think positive but they don’t always happen as quickly as we would like. His answer to the karma question of “do we always get back what we give out” was that we don’t necessarily get back what we give out. I guess Karma is quite complex and we shouldn’t expect anything in return for our good deeds and that everything we do should be done unconditionally.
Alf
The third guide that came through was a quieter old chap but a more philosophical soul with plenty to say on the way society has got down hill. We even had an apology from spirit, in away taking responsibility for the way the world has become. Once the souls of our forefathers go into spirit they recognise their mistakes, if they had done things differently they could of helped create a better world. He was saying that if he had acted in a better way and shown his children then his children would have done the same to his children. We all leave a legacy for the next generation. It’s down to all of us to pave the way for a better future. None of us can do it on our own but if we all work together especially being like minded and spiritual we can start to help those who are not and sow a seed which will hopefully grow. But we should not press too hard on the non believers as this can help to build a bigger wall for them and it will be harder to enlighten them.
Alf was also talking about the work that David and his team were asked to do from the world of spirit by highly evolved guides. They were asked to help Earth bound souls that had lost their way and try and get them over into spirit. To do this they host Parafest events across the world at the same time to help send light and love to those still trapped here. Quite an amazing fete. Alf confirmed that if earthbound souls choose to stay here or decide to turn away from the light then it’s up to them but it’s our duty to try and persuade along with our guides to move them into spirit. He also confirmed that lower entity souls would go to a much lower plane than more evolved souls. Souls only progress if they choose to and allow the help that is at hand.
A most amazing thing that David’s guide requested was that I should stick a very sharp pin into his hand to prove that David was well and truly out of his body. As you can imagine I was quite concerned doing this but as he insisted I reluctantly stuck the pin in quite a few times, actually drawing blood. And guess what, not a flinch. I honour his guides for allowing us to witness such amazing proof.
Conclusion
It was great meeting David, his wife Fran, Steve & Charley. They were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed having them down. They certainly made an impression and gave us a lot to think about..
