Moon Bathing your crystals
The strongest way of cleansing crystals is with the lunar energy of the Full Moon, this is called moon-bathing.
When I use the word "cleanse" it means cleansing of all the negative energy the crystal may have picked up from people touching it and using it another way to look at it is a re-tuning of the crystal's energy. When we work with a crystal it can absorb some of the negative energy and change its vibrational frequency. So we need to get it back into into perfect vibration. Once you have worked with them you want to help them get their energy and vibrational frequency back to its original perfect state.
Moon bathing does not only cleanse the Crystal but charges it. Crystal charging is used to imbue crystal with positive feelings, vibrations, or energy. Charged crystals are used to promote healing, strengthen intention and confidence, promote power in spell casting, and banish negativity. The power of crystal are amazing as is the power of the full moon, so by laying your crystals out on the windowsill or even in the garden on a full moon, the supercharging and cleansing effects are mind blowing and your crystals will feel like brand new sparkling super healing diamonds of magic.
Regardless if we can see the moon or not, the energy is still there and is still effecting us and the planet. Clouds do not effect the moon's energy. It is still there and still penetrating through to our crystals, even though the clouds are in the way of us seeing it. If it is raining, just make sure that you put out crystals that are OK to get wet. For example, keep Selenite and Malachite inside because the rain will damage them. Crystals like the Quartz family (Clear Quartz, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Citrine, Smoky Quartz) will all enjoy the rain. In fact the weather on a full moon will not affect them Remember, crystals are born from our Mother Earth and have been around long before there was heating or air conditioning. They can be in the snow, ice, frost or hail without any complications.
You do not have to moon bathe every full moon just cleanse and charge the ones you work with the most. They will look after you if you look after them.
Once you have moon bathed your Crystals keep them in a safe place they are now harnessed with lunar energy and ready for you to use them with good intent.
