While working with non-speakers, I refer to as Seers, using a supported spelling process, I call ECC-Energetically Connected Communication, As I serve as the Seers Catalyst for decades, I feel so much about them is being overlooked. For decades, I have felt they have the capacity to our views on consciousness. Perhaps with the popularity of the podcast, The Telepathy Tapes, scientists will be willing to explore.
In my experience, ECC seems to lean more toward shared-field telepathy — even across distance. Consciousness doesn’t seem bound by proximity in the way we usually think; tuning or resonance feels like what creates the bridge, at least phenomenologically.
That might help explain why Seers can connect with me regardless of location, and sometimes with each other. It feels less spatial and more frequency-based from my perspective. Certain Seers also seem to recognize which Catalysts they can “lock into.”
At the same time, they can receive what looks like intentional, linear communication. But even then, it often feels like we’ve entered a shared space where awareness overlaps.
When I try to send a message, I look at the keyboard and silently say the word. The Seers report that they use my gaze, silent speech, vocabulary, and knowledge to write. By gaze, I mean the Seers suggest they can perceive from my vantage point as if looking through my eyes. What comes through feels like more than I could consciously construct on my own.
My Experience and Limitations
It feels like the Seers move through my:
• language
• knowledge
• views
• nervous system
They don’t appear to produce language or knowledge outside my experience unless they already have independent access to it. They use my words, but not the ones, I might choose or even understand. but on some level, I have seen or heard them, even if obscure. So whatever is happening seems at least partly constrained by my own perceptual and cognitive system — not necessarily theirs. I am the limiting factor in the equation.
As a Catalyst, I’m not just providing motor support. My limitations appear to shape what can come through. When another Seer joins, the flow usually continues. When another Catalyst joins, the shared rhythm often breaks, at least in my experience.
During ECC
The Seers describe it as impressing thought-forms onto my brain, which I then recognize as words. I often hear what they’re about to type before it appears, though I can’t always distinguish origin with certainty.
They describe us both as bridges:
• Their bridge connects something like a universal mind to a shared subconscious space
• Mine connects that space into conscious language
Along with eye gaze and silent speech, there are subtle movements — too small for most people to notice — that seem to play a role. When things align, the process feels smooth and almost effortless.
Levels of My Thought Intrusion (Least to Most)
• Direct listening
• Taking turns typing with arm support
• Seer types initial letters with arm support support
• Seer types full words with arm or wrist support
• Seer types initial letters without arm support but I hold the device (partial initiation)
• Seer types full words while the keyboard is held
• Seer types independent while I observe and silently say words
Interestingly, less motor support seems to increase my involvement at the level of thought, gaze, and silent language. My sensory input may be supporting their motor output.
So the more physical independence is expected, more dmands are placed on their motor motor systems the more my nervous system is involved to compensate.
One Seer put it this way:
“Independent thought, not independent typing, is my goal.”
Thia is opposite of what most spelling methods suggest. They suggest the less physical support the better.
When More Intrusive Methods Are Useful
There are times when typing full words and sentences seems helpful. It can ground the process and slow things down when there’s cognitive overload.
I tend to use that approach during more functional tasks — especially when comprehension already seems clear — and then layer in more partnered methods as things stabilize. It is part of my stragtegy to try and integrate, their conscious and subconscious mind.
How our Energetic Connection Works During ECC
The Seers describe it like this:
“When we type or write together, we meld our souls as one. Our thoughts are intertwined; it is not either you or me, but our collective thought-stream.”
Conscious channeling is probably the closest comparison I can think of, but ECC feels more interactive than that. It’s not that I’m channeling them. It’s more like something emerges through the combination of both of us — something that neither of us seems to access in the same way alone.
The Seers Are Vastly Underutilized
I can’t help but wonder what might be possible if Seers were paired with specialists — neuroscientists, mathematicians, physicists. With access to more technical language, they might be able to express things in more specialized ways.
A random Catalyst, including me, can only provide a limited framework.
Caveats and Observations
I can’t translate what I don’t have access to. Even if the Seers generate meaning, the words still depend on what exists in my own framework. For example, they cannot speak Mandarin, or bring though specific mathematical concepts — not because the are incapable, but I am.
As one Seer told me:
“Interference occurs when you cannot follow my train of thought.”
Another said:
“Your senses bring me into your limited interpretation. My accuracy is subject to your constraints.”
A Temporary Yet Lasting Bond
I don’t experience myself as the author, even though the words come through me.
When we separate, perception returns to being individual. But when we reconnect — even after long periods — it often feels like the shared space is still there, or easier to access again.
As I change, the communication seems to change too. Even first meetings can feel surprisingly fluid, though I don’t fully understand why.
Until there’s more formal study of this, I feel a responsibility for what comes through.
Toward Scientific Exploration
Profoundly nonverbal individuals still seem largely absent from research — especially when it comes to the neurological and possibly experiential aspects of communication.
Tools like EEG, MEG, and fNIRS — especially when used together in hyperscanning — might help explore things like:
• synchronization between people
• the role of touch, gaze, breath, and heartbeat
• shifts in communicative leadership
• the effect of inner speech
• changes associated with physical contact
• whether any form of shared processing is occurring
Ideas from quantum theory, like entanglement, come to mind as metaphors — not explanations. The connection often feels continuous, even at a distance.
Something is happening here. I don’t fully understand it. I. am just sharing my experience. The process feels complex, and too important to ignore, or over-simplify with existing frameworks that can’t capture its magnitude.
